In detail
Calipers stripped back, cleaned and refinished in high-temperature paint that holds its colour through heat cycling rather than fading brown by the second summer. Colour matched to the wrap, or deliberately set against it.
How the calipers are painted
Because the wheels come off, caliper painting is always a workshop job, never a driveway one. Each caliper is degreased, stripped back and cleaned, everything that must not be painted is masked, and only then does the finish go on. Preparation is most of the job.
A finish made for heat
Brakes heat up whenever they are worked hard and cool again afterwards, cycle after cycle. Ordinary paint discolours under that treatment, so the calipers are refinished in a high-temperature finish made for it.
Choosing the colour
Match the calipers to the paintwork, tie them to a new wrap colour, or choose one that deliberately stands out against the body. We can add branded lettering too.
Booking and price
Caliper painting can be booked on its own or added to a wrap. With a colour change, both go on one quotation, each priced on its own line, and both are done while the car is with us.
Send the registration and a few photos of the wheels and calipers through the quote form, and a fixed written quotation follows within one working day. Big multi-pot calipers and heavily corroded ones cost more to do, and the photos show us which kind yours are.

Common questions
Do you offer mobile caliper painting?
No. The wheels come off for every caliper job, so it is done at our Lingfield workshop and never on a driveway.
How long will the car be with you?
A good deal less than a full colour change. The quotation gives the collection day before you book.
Do I need to tell my insurer?
Yes. Insurers count painted calipers as a modification even though the change is cosmetic, and an undeclared one can reduce or void a claim. Once declared, it rarely changes the premium by much.
