Car wrapping in Lingfield

Colour-change wraps fitted by hand in our own unit on St Piers Lane, a few minutes from Lingfield village centre. One car in the workshop at a time, a fixed written quotation first and a written warranty at the end.

Process

How we work

Lingfield is where the workshop is. Wrap Workx Automotive works from Unit 17 at Jesmor Farm, on St Piers Lane, a few minutes from Lingfield village centre. If you live in the village, in Dormansland or out towards Blindley Heath, the car hardly has a journey at all. Drivers from the north come down the A22 and leave it for the B2029 and then the B2028 into the village.

We fit one car at a time, so a colour change is never squeezed in around another job. Before any film is ordered the paint gets a proper look: a wrap needs sound paint beneath it, and if yours is not there yet, the quotation tells you before you have committed to anything.

What we fit

Services from this workshop

The same unit fits window tint and paint protection film, plus caliper painting for anyone matching the brakes to a new colour. Ask for more than one and each appears as its own line on a single quotation.

Chips, peeling lacquer or old repairs are pointed out on the quotation rather than hidden under film.

On your doorstep in Lingfield

Living in Lingfield makes the logistics easy: drop the car off in the morning and you are a few minutes from home. When a job runs over more than one day, the collection date is written on the quotation, so you can plan the week around it.

Wrap or respray?

A respray is permanent: the original paint is sanded and covered for good. A wrap is a film laid over the paint, so it can be peeled off later and the factory colour is still there. It does need sound paint to stick to, and changing the whole colour means updating your V5C with the DVLA and letting your insurer know.

FAQ

Common questions

Where exactly is the workshop?

Unit 17 Jesmor Farm, St Piers Lane, Lingfield, Surrey RH7 6PN, a few minutes from the village centre. “Get directions” opens the route in Google Maps.

How long will the car be with you?

A full colour change is a job of several days. Smaller pieces such as a roof, the mirrors or a bonnet are often finished the same day or overnight. You see the collection day on the quotation before you book.

Do I need to tell the DVLA if I change the colour?

Yes. When the colour of the car changes, record it on the V5C and tell your insurer.

Do you wrap vans from round here?

Yes. Vans and small fleets are wrapped in the same unit, in a plain colour or a livery, and quoted in writing exactly like a car.

How do I get a quotation?

Use the quote form, or call or WhatsApp 07438 098847. Photos help, and a fixed price comes back within one working day.
