The glass is cleaned and each piece applied by hand from inside the car.

Settling in
Fresh film can show faint moisture blotches for a few days while it dries. They clear on their own, and the written warranty leaves with the car.

What the law allows
UK law sets two numbers for the front of the car, both describing the share of light that must still pass through: 75% for the windscreen and 70% for the front side windows. Behind the driver there is no limit, so rear privacy film can be as dark as you want. A front shade beyond the limit can fail an MOT and earn a prohibition notice, so we do not fit one.

Yes, within the law. Most factory glass already blocks a little light, so a legal front film is a light one. The quotation says exactly what we can fit on your glass.
How do I get a price quickly?
If it is tint only, choose rear privacy, front sides or the full car on the quote form with your body style, and for most cars a fixed quotation is emailed the moment you send. Anything else comes back in writing within one working day.
Do you tint vans?
Yes. Van is one of the body styles on the quote form, for the rear glass or for all the windows behind the windscreen.
How long is the car at the workshop?
Less time than a wrap or a PPF job. The quotation gives the timing, and if you live in the village you are only a few minutes away while it is done.
Is the tint warrantied?
Yes, in writing, when the car is handed back. Clean the glass without ammonia or abrasives; the aftercare sheet covers the rest.
