Godstone sits on both the A22 and the A25, with the M25 just to the north, which makes it one of the easiest places to reach us from. Our workshop is about 16 minutes south, at Jesmor Farm on St Piers Lane in Lingfield. Wrap Workx fits vinyl wraps, window tint, paint protection film and painted calipers there, and only one car is ever in the unit at a time.
Getting here from Godstone
Head south out of the village to join the A22 and stay on it for a few miles, then leave it for the B2029 and the B2028, which bring you into Lingfield. Motorway miles and stone chips
If your journeys usually begin on the M25, the front of the car meets grit at speed, and the faster a stone is travelling, the deeper the chip it leaves. Covering the bonnet, bumper, wings and mirrors with clear paint protection film shields the panels that face the traffic; the whole car can be done as well. Fine swirls in the self-healing top coat close up with heat, so the film keeps looking clear.
Calipers and the finishing touches
Caliper painting is one of our core services, not an afterthought. The wheels come off, the calipers are stripped and cleaned, and they are refinished in high-temperature paint that holds its colour through heat cycles instead of turning brown. It pairs naturally with a wrap, matched to the new colour or set deliberately against it, and it can just as easily be booked on its own.
Tint, inside the legal lines
For tint, the law only concerns itself with the front of the car: 75% of light through the windscreen, 70% through the front side windows. Everything behind the driver can go as dark as you like. We do not fit front film darker than those figures, because it risks an MOT failure and a roadside prohibition notice, and that is not a risk worth passing on to a customer.
