Window tinting for Crawley

Window tint for Crawley drivers: rear privacy, legal front shades and less heat in the cabin, fitted at our Lingfield workshop about 22 minutes away. Tint-only jobs can be priced instantly online.

Process

How we work

Crawley to Lingfield is about 22 minutes, east on the A264 and then north on the B2028. A tint booking is usually a shorter stay than a wrap, and the film goes on indoors, in a unit that only ever has one car in it.

Before booking, pick a package on the quote form: rear privacy, front sides only, or every window bar the windscreen. For most cars, the fixed price for your body style is emailed the moment you send it. Film brand and shade are then agreed with you when the car is booked in.

If you also want a colour change or paint protection film, both come from the same unit and go on one quotation as separate lines.

Area

Tinting for Crawley and Horley

Tint is mostly about comfort: less heat building up in a parked car, less glare on a bright afternoon, and passengers in the back kept out of view. For drivers from Crawley, Three Bridges and Horley, all of that is done in one visit to the workshop.

Destination from Crawley: Unit 17 Jesmor Farm, St Piers Lane, Lingfield, Surrey RH7 6PN.

UK tint law in short

The front of the car is regulated; the back is not. A windscreen needs to pass 75% of the light or more and front side glass 70% or more, while the rear sides and back screen can be any shade. Fronts darker than that risk an MOT failure and a prohibition notice, so we fit legal front film only.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I get from Crawley to the workshop?

Take the A264 east and turn north onto the B2028 for Lingfield. It is about 22 minutes on a clear run.

Is limo-dark tint legal on the front windows?

No. The front side windows must still let through at least 70% of light, so very dark film is for the rear only. We will not fit an illegal front shade.

How long does a tint job take?

Less time than a wrap. The quotation gives the timing for your car, so you know when to head back from Crawley to collect it.

Can you tint a van?

Yes. Pick van as the body style on the instant quote, then choose the rear glass or every window except the windscreen.

How do I contact you?

Call or WhatsApp 07438 098847, or send the quote form.
