The car comes south to Lingfield over the hill through Warlingham and down the A22 past Caterham and Godstone, about 39 minutes from Croydon. It is booked in for a set day, prepared properly and fitted by hand, and only the panels on your written quotation are covered.

PPF and ceramic coating
A ceramic coating is about gloss and easy washing: a hard, slick layer measured in microns, which shrugs off road film and water spots but not stones. PPF is a physical film that stops the stone. They work well together, with film over the impact areas and the coating over the film, and we can add the coating on top.

Common questions
How far is the workshop from Croydon?
About 39 minutes by car. Head south through Sanderstead and Warlingham to the A22 at Whyteleafe; Lingfield lies beyond Godstone, and “Get directions” sets the exact route.
What will PPF not protect against?
It is not armour. A heavy or sharp impact can still damage the film, and it will not cover up chips that were already in the paint. What it does is take the everyday stone chips, gravel rash and bird-lime etching.
How long does a full front take?
Less time than a full colour change, while full-body film takes longer. Your quotation states when the car will be ready, so the trip down from Croydon can be planned around it.
Is PPF worth it on a car kept in London?
If the car does motorway runs or sits close behind other traffic, the front end will chip, and film keeps that paint intact. If it only does short local trips, a full front may be all it needs, and we will not push more.
